Why verify first

Between Brazil, Africa and the Gulf countries, finding an opportunity is one thing. Knowing who you are negotiating with is another. That is why our work begins before the parties are introduced.

Four steps, both parties

Each step is carried out with the same standard for both sides.

  1. Documents

Before any introduction, we request and examine each party's documentation: registration of the company or institution, legal standing and consistency of the information provided.

  2. References

We check the business and institutional references provided by each party, to understand the track record and way of working of whoever will be on the other side.

  3. Qualification interviews

We conduct qualification interviews with both parties: goals, delivery capacity, timelines and expectations. The same standard applies to both sides.

  4. Due diligence

We conduct due diligence: we gather and analyze the information obtained in the previous steps. Only then do we propose, or decline to propose, an introduction between the parties.

An international reference

Our process is inspired by the good practices of ICC chambers of commerce (World Chambers Federation) for partner verification.

What verification does not do

  • It does not guarantee payment, delivery or profitability.
  • It does not replace contracts, guarantees or legal advice.
  • It does not replace each party's own assessment and decision.

It prepares a better-informed relationship: each party knows who is on the other side of the table and what they can really offer.
